The fraudsters are at it again!

The fraudsters attempt to obtain users’ data by sending them an email, a SMS or WhatsApp-Text asking them to log in via a provided link (phishing site).

  • Always check the URL in your browser’s address bar before logging in (https://www.newhome.ch/…)
  • Check the validity of any emails you receive
  • Never share your account information with third parties
  • Never enter your login information to read a contact request

If you receive strange or unusual emails, SMS or WhatsApp-Text please contact us.

In this scam, the fraudster is attempting to gain access to your account. Typically, the user is sent an email in which newhome.ch is listed as the sender. In the email, the user is prompted (with spurious reasons) to enter their personal login information for newhome.ch. With this information, the fraudster gains access to the user’s account and is then able to send contact requests. This enables the fraudster to establish contact with prospective property purchasers and request advance payments or engage in other fraudulent activities.

Only enter your newhome.ch login on the secure original newhome.ch login page (https//www.newhome.ch/…).

You can recognise the original website via the green bar in your browser. It always starts with a secure SSL connection https//www.newhome.ch and also contains a padlock icon. If you click the padlock icon in the browser bar, the reference to the SSL security certificate from QuoVadis should appear.

2. The address is not secure and begins with “http://” instead of “https://”
